Acceso a servicios de salud mental en escuelas de Denver: Recomendaciones para fondos de salud mental en DPS

Mejorar el apoyo a la salud mental en las escuelas es el enfoque de OurTurn, una organización de activismo juvenil dirigida por estudiantes, están testificando el lunes 11 de enero durante la reunión del Comité Asesor de Presupuestos. Cuando sólo hay 1 trabajador social por cada 250 estudiantes y 1 psicólogo por cada 700 estudiantes, a los estudiantes que buscan apoyo de salud mental en las escuelas a menudo se les pide que recurren a maestros, asesores o miembros del personal no calificados.
