A+ Colorado penned the following memo to the CDE in reflection on data utility.
A+ Colorado has compiled challenges we have experienced in the publicly available data sets. Our intent with this document is to shed additional light on both the anomalies in reporting rules, as well as the systemic issues that compromise utility and validity. We hope we can continue to partner with the Colorado Department of Education to address these challenges and find solutions that protect students’ personally identifiable information and provide usable and valid public data.
