Landri Taylor named newest DPS Board Member, steps down from A+ Denver Board

Today, DPS School Board President Mary Seawell announced the appointment of Landri Taylor to fill the vacancy created by the departure of Nate Easley in January. Landri is the president & CEO of the Denver Urban League and has been an A+ Denver board member for just under one year.

“Landri Taylor has shown unswerving commitment to Denver’s kids and we congratulate him on this appointment to the DPS Board. While we regret his departure from the A+ board, we believe Landri will be an asset to the DPS Board,” said A+ Denver CEO Van Schoales.

Due to A+ Denver’s internal conflict of interest policy, Landri will step down from his position effective immediately.

The mission of A+ Denver (A+) is to harness the power of Denver’s civic leadership to build public will and advocate for the changes necessary to dramatically increase student achievement in public education in Denver. For more information, visit us at: www.aplusdenver.org.
